6 weeks and brown blood! Help.

So yesterday i went for my scan and they said i was six weeks pregnant and they saw a heartbeat. I was very happy. Today though i have started to spot brown blood. There isnt alot but i have had to wear a panty liner so it dosent ruin my under garments. I have no pain but i have had a m/c in november and im scared this is going to end up in a m/c too. Can anyone advise what the brown blood is?

Did you also have a pap smear done? If so, many women will spot a lil after having a pap smear.

Brown blood normally means old blood,  It is great that you got to see the heartbeat yesterday!!!  Did you have an internal (vaginal) ultrasound as you are so early,  maybe the probe has irritated something inside,  I,m sure if something was not right it would have ben pickd up yesterday, and as you are having no cramps or any other symptoms of something beng wrong, then all should be ok. I know what it is like to be pregnant again after having a miscarriage, we are constantly worried that something is going to go wrong, i had 2 m/c last year and fell pregnant straight after the second and I am now 33 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy.  If anything changes then maybe give you doc a call to put your mind at rest,  Good luck to you

I had a belly scan yesterday not an internal and no pap smear. I know that brown blood is old blood to be honest its only really there when i wipe and there was some on the towel that i had put in but it is darkk brown like chocolate colour. Its just that i have had a m/c and i know that sometime m/c can start off like this
