Honestly I would go to the ER and check it out. I don't want to scare you but I was told that it is normal to have cramps but you should not have cramps and bleed at the same time. This could be early signs for a m/c. Unfortantly this happened to me in Jan09. I would go to the hospital to calm your nerves.

Go to the Eergency room, it may be normal but cramping and bleeding can be a sign of a miscarriage.  You need to go to the Emergency room as soon as possible.

Hm....Im soo  surprised that nurse told you that bleeding is normal..it is not. I would go to ER because they can tell you much more...bleeding and clotting is not a good sign but miracles happen, so don't be discouraged yet but do go to ER.

I also agree with everyone else. The clotting isn't good. I had bleeding and cramping when i had my m/c in Oct08 then i had the clotting a day later. Good luck.

I agree you need to go to the ER. While cramping is normal during early pregnancy (I had tons of cramping during first trimester) I was told if I had any bleeding that went with the cramping to get checked out immediately. It is hopefully nothing - but to be safe, go see the ER docs. Good luck, Heather
