7 weeks no heartbeat and only the beginning of a fetal pole

I am 7 weeks pregnant and went in for a trans vaginal ultra sound today and the doctor saw a gestational sac and what she said was the beginning of a fetal pole. She is having me have another ultra sound next week, but I am concerned that there was no heartbeat and only the beginning of a fetal pole. Has anyone had a ultra sound this early and is this normal? Please be honest as I already do not really have a good feeling. Any input would be great.

Seeing the gestational sac and fetal pole is GREAT and I think it's great they're having you wait a week to come in to see a heartbeat in the chances that your dates are off.
