Even if you don't have a doctor yet, you should at least see SOMEBODY. I've never heard of it, but maybe the baby is sitting on a nerve in that area??? Call someone in your hospital, on the ob/gyn ward, and let them know what's going on, see if someone can see you. That's what I would do, as I've never personally heard of this before. Good luck
no because i had my apt a couple weeks ago and the symptoms started rigt after my apt, and cant be seen until a few weeks from now since i have to go through the hospital. just going to emerg here is 6 hours if your bleeding or worse, i had to sit in the wait room for 9 hours one day just to get in to be seen for vomiting early on, from the morning sickness, from when i got there to the time i was seen they had to iv me cause i got dehydrated even with the pedialyte freezi(yuck) they gave me, so i cant go there, but i looked up online, and im not the only one who has gotten this and everything else says its probably the baby pushing on nerves and/ or your rib cage expanding against nerves. i dont think its related but i forgot to mention earlier that my right arm if i use it ith pressure or sleep on that side it goes numb as well, started about the same time and could be related i guess if i is the nerve thing.... anyways let me kn ow what you think. any other questions ill be around:)
It really is probably just pressure causing pinched nerves and numbness. Only a doctor can diagnose you, though, so if you are concerned, you'll wait how ever many hours to insure your baby and you are okay.
Numbness in your shoulders and arms, however, can be a sign of something going on in your body. You really should see a doctor, just to make sure.
