9 wks. no heartbeat yet!!

I'm about 9 weeks and 5 days. I went to the Dr. today and he did an ultrasound I thought it was too early, but he saw something but no heartbeat. I'm kind of upset because I had a miscarriage in Oct. Is this normal to not see a heartbeat this early?

If your dates are off then it is possible you're not as far along as you originally thought. But at 9 weeks you definitely should see baby and a heartbeat. The only thing I can think of is that your dates are off.

yeah, I agree with JoyRenee.....at 9 weeks, there has to be a heartbeat on u/s......I would wait another 2 weeks, but unless your dates are off, the chances are pretty slim, I am sorry..
