ACNE PROBLEMS?

by linsweber, Dec 03, 2008 12:53PM
Is anyone having a problem with acne and if so what can you do or what have you done to help get rid of it. It is horrible and I cannot stand it, it is driving me crazy!

I've been told the only acne medication you can use is benzoyle peroxide...it is the active ingredient in clearasil vanishing cream and a clean and clear face wash...A lot of products use salycilic acid and I was told that is not safe to use during pregnancy.

I had HORRIBLE acne that started in my first trimester.  You are not supposed to use salicylic acid or most other acne meds.  What I found was a fairly cheap face soap that is actually fragrence free, soap free, and hypoallergenic at walmart, and it doesn;t have any harsh chemicals in it that can hurt the baby.   Anyway, I love it, and it worked absolute wonders on my face, I also use their moisturizer which has SPF.  Anyway, I buy it at Walmart and the brand name is "Purpose"
