Am I losing too much, what can I do to slow the weightloss

by Philip_lucia, Feb 25, 2009 06:07PM
I had my baby on the 14 of this month, since then I have lost 31 pounds, only 10 of them from the baby and after birth. Is that normal? It's almost 2 weeks later and I have lost that much weight. I had nemonia, I've been going through a lot stress because my baby was taken away (by the way, I had an emergency c-section) 3 days after her birth. I haven't been able to eat all that much, I am very dehydrated, nausoas I don't know what to do. Food makes me sick, and I don't want to through.

Many women lose weight in the first weeks after the birth of the baby, especially if they're nursing. Obviously if you're sick you'll also lose weight. You need to call your OBGYN and speak to them because you need to stay hydrated, especially if nursing.
