Anesthesia

by abbi23, Nov 04, 2007 07:13PM
I found out that I have to have shoulder surgery immediately. At the same time I found out that I am pregnant, but no more than a month. How safe is it to have general anesthesia for a procedure that will last no longer than 20 minutes? I won't be taking any pain meds such as the caine family, morophine, or anything like that, just the anesthesia.

I don't think it will be harmful from what I read about it. But always check with your doctor! If it is something that cannot wait, it should be okay. I hope everything turns out okay for you and congrats!
