Antibody Screen & the RhoGam injection

by dondi625, Jul 08, 2009 10:46PM
When you have an Rh negative patient and she has blood drawn at 28 wks. for the Antibody Screen, how many days (or weeks) until she needs the RhoGam injection? Is there a time frame or does it really matter. I know it's ok to receive the RhoGam injection up to 34 wks., but is it OK for the blood work to be drawn 2 or 3 wks.(or longer) prior to that. I cannot find it written anywhere and I need documentation for my Physicians. Please help me to find this important information. thanks, donna
