You should be fine.  They recommend a month into the pills but I think you will be fine.  I was on the pills for 2 years and back then, me and my dh we're like rabbits and never got pregnant or anything and I didn't even wait a month to start, I probably waited only a week or so.
Relax....

I was always told my my obgyn that you had to give the pill a full month before it is effective.  Of course that was 14 years ago and I no longer have to worry about being pregnant (had a hyster), so things may have changed since then.  If you think there is even a slight chance that you are pregnant againk then you need to stop taking the pill and have a blood test done.  Good luckand please let us know what is goin on.

You can't really do anything now except wait, so just keep taking your pills are recommended and also remember that the pills set you back a week so, you will get your period a week later than the calendar but right on time with the sugar pills so don't get scared.  If your period doesn't start as it should well...you might have to take a test..
I think you are fine though.

What pills did your doctor put you on?  I know alot of pills say wait a month and then you'll be pretected, but I know with Yaz you'll be pretected within the first 7 days of taking the pills.  You could try googling your type of pills and they should be able to tell you how soon you're pretected.  Also I think that they tell you a month because they want to make sure there is enough pills in your system and not to have an accident... if someone wasn't pertected by the time they says you should be.  LoL well those are my thoughts.  However, if you feel like you're pregnant, you may very well be.  For me the brownish dishcharge, was the first sign that I was preggers, Ie. implating.  But everyone's different and if you think you might be i would call and ask for a blood test from your doctor and you could ask him how soon after taking the pills you would be pertected...
