Benadryl while pregnant?

Good Morning,
I have a question. I went on a cleaning frenzy yesterday and this morning, I wake up feeling awful.. Headache, sneezing, coughing.. I think I may have been exposed to some black mold. I am allergic and my eyes are a little swollen and i have a killer headache. I tried to get on ask . com to find out whether or not Benadryl is safe to take, but my computer kept freezing up and wouldn't go to the website.. Can I take Benadryl?
I am also stressing b/c I am out of sick time and am worried my employer will be upset, but I feel like C R A P!

Benedryl is safe in pregnancy, just limit your intake. This is according to my list of approved OTC meds from my Dr. I have had to take it attimes with all of my pg due to allergys (allergies). Hope you feel better.

My OB said it is ok. I had hives for the first three weeks that I was pregnant and the doc said that Benadryl is safe.

yes benadryl is fine....and actually some docs recommend it during pregnancy as a sleep aid.
