Birth Control Pill (Errin Tablet (aka Mini Pill)

by Michele, Katy, TX, Nov 15, 2007 10:46AM
Hi Ladies.  I wanted to know if any of you have ever been prescribed this type of birth control before.  My doctor has given it to me after my last 3 pregnancies.  I know it is a progesterone only based b/c pill.  I am nursing also.  Once I stop nursing, he will give me regular b/c pill if that's what I want.  But this pill makes me bleed all the time.  And not just spotting but like having a full period.  I get the cramps, the bloating, everything.  I've looked this up on the net but it just basically tells me what I already know which is that it may cause irregular bleeding (spotting between periods) and that it's used for b/c.  I guess my question is just to basically get info. from anyone that has taken this before and did they have the same experience with it??  Does anyone know why this particular pill causes this while other b/c pill help you to be regular???  Lack of estrogen in the pill maybe???
