by shelby2430, Oct 12, 2009 09:36AM
I am wanting to know how long that you have to be off of your BC to get pregnant? Like do i need to be off of them for months to be more likely or is it uneffective the day I stop taking it? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

For most people I think it takes a little while for their bodies to adjust to not being on BC. I have heard between a few months and a year, but everyone is different. Good luck!

although it is possible to get pregnant if you miss a pill in a pack, many women's bodies take anywhere from 1-6 months or longer to get back to normal... some can take up to a year but most are within 6 months.
