Blood Pressure

by knj26, Aug 17, 2009 07:59PM
I'm 27 and 21 weeks pregnant. I just went to my doctors for a regular check up and they always measure my blood pressure and never said anything was out of the ordinary, but I recently checked my blood pressure at home a couple of weeks later and noticed it was low 95/57 my heart rate was 80 which is normal for me. My question is, is it normal to have low blood pressure during pregnancy or should i be concerned?

How are you measuring your own BP? Do you have an automatic BP cuff or do you use a "manual" one (I guess they're called?). I hope you know what I mean. Anyway, it could just be an error. I'd definitely ask your doctor about it. When is your next appt? Perhaps you should call tomorrow and see what they say.
