Broken waters

Hey everyone, sorry its been so long since i said hi, but its hard to do that when tou don't have the internet. So for the next 24 hours im all yours. So lets give you the update as it's been so long.
i'm pregnant with my first child and he's due oct 12 (in six weeks). He began to get engaged two weeks ago apart from the usual sleepless nights and suffering with a back joint problems im good. Well on tuesday morning my waters partcially broke i went to the hospital and and although they broke they aren't treating it like it. I'm not really worried because i havent had contractions its just noone gave me any information about it. Can it be harmful? They didn't measure the fluid he lost or that i still have. They just sent me home.

Sorry i guess i tried to read to fast. You said that your water partially broke on Tuesday?
I have always been told that you cant go more than 24 hrs as you could get an infection.
Have you called your ob to see what they want you to do?

I heard the same thing. That your supposed to deliver withen 24/48 hours after your water breaks because of the risk of infection. I seriously doubt a doc would allow you to go 6 weeks with broken membranes....

no nouid is gone and cervix is closed its just i know it happens but they didn't give any advice on anything grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i hate hospitals
