I have some Pillsbury brownie batter (the one that comes in the tube) and I was eating some, because I think the batter is WAY better than actual brownies and I didn't really think about the raw egg thing until after. I looked on the ingredients and the only egg mentioned is "dried egg whites (contains citric acid and yeast)". Will this have caused any harm, or is it safe
to taste especially if it is only the egg whites... It is usually the yolk that causes the problems. I wouldn't go overboard and eat a ton of it but I am sure tasting it isn't going to cause problems.
yeah i wouldn't worry about it. i wouldn't really suggest eating anymore though. but if you do eat something your not supposed to, you'll know shortly if it did any harm because you'll have similar symptoms of food poisoning
. most of the time within 48 hours. so i'm sure you're fine.
but i know all about the brownie batter stuff..i LOVE it, and its so hard making brownies or even cookies without eating any of the dough/batter. i think im going to make a thing of cookie dough and leave out the eggs and just eat the whole thing one of these days lol.
