CLYNDAMYCIN FOR BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS???

Has anyone ever taken clyndamycin for bacterial vaginosis??? Or doxycycline??? And is doxycycline the same thing as cly.???or is it more like vabromycin????

well not me i have takesn the metro-gel or metrnidazole for bacterial vaginosis. but i have seen doctors give rx for clyndamacin for it.

Yes i was given clyndamicyn. No doxycycline is not the same as cly.

i also had the metro gel. does anybody notice any heavy discharge a couple days into usage of the vaginal gels?

I was prescribed metrogel when my midwife though I had "something" (cause she said my cervix looked irritated- at the end it turned out being nothing) and yes theres some weird discharge a couple of days into it, it looks like cottage cheese blagh!

At the beginning of my pregnancy I was diagnosed with BV and yeast infection used metro gel and it didn't clear up so Dr then gave me clyndamiacin. Every time I've used the vaginal gel I have gotten a cottage cheese discharge and always had to get a oral prescription because it never works for me.
