COLD MD and Pregnant

by etorres77, Jan 06, 2009 09:34AM
Has anyone tried Cold MD tablets while pregnant? Is it safe? I was wondering what I should take if I am coughing. I heard Robitussin DM is good has anyone tried it? Thanks.

My GP told me that you shouldn't take anything with DM after the name while you're pregnant. You really shouldn't take any cold medicine if you can help it (although some are better than others...I think benedryl is supposed to be ok), but he said especially not the ones with DM.
