Caesarean section question.

Okay so my mom had to give a ceasareansection delivery with all 5 of her kids because her birth conal wasnt big anough. My grandma was the same way. Does this mean im going to be the same way too?

No..;-) its possible but not definite..and honestly I was told that with my first and had a c-section..with my second I changed docs and he was upset with how my first went..because he said there was no reason I couldn't have had her naturally!!

No you should ask your doctor he will be able to tell you, my mom had all of us vaginally, my grandmother had to have a c-section because her labor wouldn't progress and then I had to have c-sections because my birth canal is too small to deliver any baby much less the 8 lb ones I have and we are all only 5'-5' 1" tall. I would suggest finding out before birth though because I didn't and it is a much rougher recovery when you go through a long labor and pushing, then a c-section. But every person is different and just because they had to doesn't mean you will. Good luck and don't stress about it, no matter how your baby gets here all that matters when it arrives is that it's here and healthy.

Well my Aunt and mom both had C sections with all their kids, my labor was the same as my mom and i had a C section.... BUT my sister has had very little trouble with her kids and has been super lucky that she has awesome deliveries, like better than average deliveries... the kind that makes you jealous! lol so its not set in stone... it would depend on your body type and what traits you may have inherited...
