Can I be pregnant?

Hi ,
I am normally on the pill but ran out and had unprotected sex with my partner so had to take morning after pill. I didnt have any problems at first but then almost a week after I had taken it I started bleeding really heavily even though wasnt due period for couple weeks. Lasted about 3 days and now just stopped suddenly. I have developed really tender breasts and my mongomerys tubercles are visible and pronounced and I have had slight nausea. Is there any way the morning after pill might not have worked? but can implantation bleeding be heavy? very confused! Or are these side effects of the morning after pill, even though I thought any side effects would have occured soon after taking it, not over a week later

The MAP is only 75% effective at preventing against pregnancy.

Implantation bleeding is typically a little spotting that lasts 1-2 days

All of the effects you describe can be from Plan B and CAN definitely occur a week or two after taking it.

Based on what you have said, its more likely that you are not pregnant BUT you should take a HPT 2 weeks after the event to be on the safe side.

i dnt think u could be pregnant. it takes around 5 months for the pill to work out ur system but i do have friends that got pregnant on the pill.. the best way would be to wait for ur periot or take a test..
