Can baby be a girl even if at 12 weeks they said boy?
I have a 3 yrd old little boy and really want a girl. I just had my 12 week 3-D ultrasound and they say 80% boy. Can it still be girl??? Anyone else been told the same and then at 20 weeks it was in fact a girl???
Usually they are wrong when it's the other way around. If they said girl at first then the chances of you having a boy would be more. Somehow they just miss that little wiener! LOL
There's still that 20 percent chance what they saw wasn't actually there! 12 weeks I think is pretty early to be checking for the sex
yea they cant really even tell you anything about the babys sx at only 12 weeks the earliest is 16 weeks if your lucky but mst sane doctors or ultrasoun techs want to wait until your 18 or 20 week ultrasound so that its more accurate and they can see more
I went for my NT scan with my son at 12 weeks..... they told me right away OH thats a boy and sure enough it was a boy.... I think its easier to tell boys at this early stage then girls.... and I think that its also more likely to say girl and have it be a boy then the other way around.... Early scans are unpredictable tho, so you still have a chance! good Luck!
I went to breask feeding class on a few days after birth. The nurse called a lady "please, take your boy here" I guess evey one would have the same thought because that little baby wearing a very dark blue shirt. Then the lady laughed so hard and said, "she is a girl, We have several u/s and they keep telling us it's a boy and we bought all cloth for baby boy. We have no time to buy the new cloth for her yet". LOL
I hope this won't happen to you, but at @18weeks, let see.
Good luck.
