Can pregnancy trigger off hives

I have never had an allergy (hives) before, and there mite be a chance that i could be pegnant but its to early to take a test i think,
MY question is if u are pegnant coz ur body is changing, hormones running around could this give you hives if you never had them before?
SYMPTONS: Swelling and itching of the hand and sometimes feet,body comes up in lump every day for the past two weeks whether i itch it or not but mainly itches.belly feels empty burning in the hand which causes to itch i am tierd quite a lot too

i have been to my gp and she said that baby dont trigger hives off but i don't believe her cause i have been on forums and read about women with simular situation
please help

Hormones dont trigger hives. In the third trimester of pregnancy its possible to get rashes that are very uncomfortable but that is because the skin in stretching so much. I haven't even heard of pregnancy causing it before then though.
