Can you pregnant while on your period

im curious to know if you could get pregnant while on your period...

Nope you can only get pregnant during ovulation which is typically around 14 days after the first day of your period. When your on your period its cleaning you out getting ready for you to ovulate but you cant ovulate while on your period.

You can get pregnant on your period.  It all depends on your cycle length, including the duration of your actual period.  Like mentioned above, if you have a short cyle of 23 days, then you can expect to have ovulated approximately 14 days prior, which would be 23-14=day 9. ( It also important to know that sperm can last up to 5 days inside the body.)Now if your period lasted 6 days, and on day 6 you had sex, the sperm could defintely be there to fertilize the egg.   Theoretically in this scenario you could get pregnant from sex as early as day 4! (Given that the sperm did last 5 days)

no u cant get preg on ur period, i have 4 kids and i no ths bcoz i askd my doc tha same quest, tha only way it could happen is if u have sex afta ur period has finished, then it could happen as early as a wk afta bcoz tha sperm duz survive 4 5days. It cant survive if u have sex a day b4 ur period bcoz even if it lives 4 5days being on ur period isnt tha rite environment 4 sperm 2 survive in
