Cervix closed?

Im just curious.. i keep seeing all this talk about positions of cervix and yadda yadda but can your cervix be closed at any other time OTHER than during pregnancy??

Your cervix is closed before and after ovulation as well, it's not open all the time. Some women's cervixes look more open, or aren't AS closed if they've had a baby already.
