Cervix position??

So i was just wondering how you check your cervix??? What it usually feels like?? I have heard a lot of ladies talk about doing this but im not sure how to do it.

The cervix position and texture changes frequently in a females cycle, as well as through the day. Basically, make sure you have very clean hands and you can squat or sit on a toilet. You would insert a finger and feel for the cervix. It can be low (easy to reach) or high (difficult to reach with the tips of your fingers) and it can be soft (feels like your lower lip) or hard (like the tip of your nose) and you might feel a slit or hole at the end. If you've been pregnant before more than likely it will always feel open.

You of course never check your cervix while pregnant, as you can introduce infection/bacteria into the area or dilate yourself early.
