Chances of getting pregnant with a possible tilted uterus

I seen my gyn recently who told me that I might have a "tilted uterus" but he would have to do a ultrasound just to be sure. My ultrasound is scheduled for about 2-3 weeks from now but the stressing of know whether or not is killing me. Will I be able to have a baby if it is tilted and how much harder (if at all) would it be to conceive??? I currently have no children but have always wanted them. Are my dreams shattered if my uterus is tilted?? Worse case scenerio, what type of procedure can reverse the tilting & will that eliviate problem??? Please help... I dont know what to do...

A tilted uterus is not a problem unless its severely tilted.  Most women's uterus are slightly tilted to some degrees.  I was told that too and I got pregnant 2 months after I started trying to get pregnant.  Its not a big deal whatsoever.  Specially when you get pregnant your uterus grows and straightens itself.  If it doesn't straighten then you could have issues giving birth naturally which then you might have to have a c-section.  But otherwise your uterus straightens itself when you are pregnant.  Don't worry about it.

So does he think it's tilted backwards?  Mine is tilted backwards, and i'm currently pregnant with number 3.  I've been pregnant 5 times, so this makes 3rd to go all the way.  The only thing with me is, my contractions happen more in my back, and I barely feel them!  So I would see no problem at all for you!

Also, i have had natural births, and like mumita said above, mine actually doesn't straighten out.  It's rare for your uterus to be tilted, so 10 doctors i've seen says.  It doesn't really cause problems.

I am pregnant with #1 with a tilted back uterus... It is really not a problem  I did not even know till I got an ultrasound for my baby.  So it shouldn't interfere unless it's tilted too far back. Even then it's still curable..
