Change in areola

Hey everyone.Ok well heres the lowdown.....
Well last month when my monthly(period)was due,i was about 5 days late.I thought i may have been pregnant due to the fact that i couldnt stop eating and gained a lot of weight over the previous weeks (i dont normally eat much during the day)and i "felt" pregnant.I already have children so you know that feeling you get...anyway,i did a preg test which was negative and when i got my period last month it lasted around the normal amount of days but was lighter in colour.Im due in a couple of weeks but i have noticed over the last couple of weeks that my right areola has changed.My nipple has gone a bit flatter but the areola has grown huge~like 2-3 times bigger than my left.I dont have any other symptons besides stomach cramps but that could be anything! Im just wondering why my areola has changed dramatically.Thanx :)

Retest.  If negative, make an appointment with your doctor to make sure the changes in your areola are benign.

Thanx for the comment.Im due in a couiple of weeks so will wait patiently until then if i can to retest!!!If no change with my areola by the week ending then i will go see the doctor.I have had cancer before (thyroid)so am over the doctor thing but for peace of mind i will go again.hopefully nothing!!!Thanx again. :)
