Okay, now I'm scared again. At my 20 week anatomy scan aparently they found bilateral choroid plexus cysts. My doctor told me not to worry because they usually go away on their own, blah, blah, blah, of course Im going to worry! Apparently the concern is that it can be a marker for Trisomy
I don't have any light to shed on your situation but wanted to wish you good luck and tell you to try to not worry even though it might not be possible to not worry! *HUGS*
18 and I'm telling you that for the next four weeks, BAN YOURSELF from search engines. Don't research it or look it up. Hopefully at your next u/s you'll have a more firm answer as to what is going on. Don't allow yourself worry when there might not be anything wrong!
18 to be terrified. I feel numb and scared and like I am about to lose my mind right now. I know that the odds are that everything is fine, but going from there being almost no chance, to now there is a chance, its debilitating.
try not to worry so much when you are preggo it seems like something is always going wrong. when i pregnant i was told my son would have Downs, spinal Bifia, and CP but u know what he is 7 now and fine. he does have a speach problem but he was alao born at 25wks so that was expected. with my second baby i opted out of the test because i didn't want to stress myself and she was a normal healthy baby and i will do the same with this pregnancy. i had cysts with my son and things turned out great other than the premature birth but i blame that on myself because i was 17 at the time and i didn't really think about the symptoms i was having being those of pregnancy so i didn't have no prenat. care until 22wks and then i had him at 25 so stay postitive just because you have cysts doesn't mean something is wrong with the baby!!! good luck and lots of hugs!!!
Just remember--- having a healthy baby is the NORM not the exception. We're thinking of you during this time and I hope you are able to enjoy the next couple of weeks, no matter what is to come!
