Christmas 2009 visit with Santa!

I wanted to post a pic. We count this as our FIRST Christmas since TJ was on life support this time last year. We went to the DSAH (down syndrome association) christmas party here in our town and there were TONS of other families there. Probably around 50 families.

They had a "special guest" show up (santa) and I thought for sure TJ would flip out when he held him because he'd been crying all night when any strangers held him (like he thought theyd take him from us). But he did alright w/Santa.

Adorable!!  This was the first year that DS actually didn't freak out with Santa (well, except for his first Christmas when he was only 3 months old and was pretty much oblivious).

I really appreciate the compliments. my sister saw a pic and the look on TJ's face is priceless. he's looking straight at the camera like "I'm a real boy!" haha. I'll be posting it a bit later. Tomorrow is my first day w/both boys all alone so we'll see how it goes.
