My dr told me to take it cd3-7 and BD as much as possible...he also wants me to monitor my BBT to determine whether I O or not...Clomid doesn't always make you O...trust me, I know...I'm now up to 100mg and taking metformin...oh yeah, I have PCOS :-(...I go to have a progesterone level drawn on Thursday to see if the cycle was a waste...good luck to you!!!
I go in on day 2 for a full bladder u/s and internal along with blood work and only after the blood work comes back can I start the clomid. I can't remember what's the reason for the bloodwork, however one month I was unable to take my clomid cause something was high, can't remember what. I then go back on day 9 and then day 13-15 depending on how big my follicles
are getting and what my blood is showing, then usually on day 14 or 15 I give myself an injection of ovidrel. 2 data later I start with prometrium. I don't ovulate on my own that's why I have to take the ovidrel, from what I understand clomid helps the follicles
Sounds like we both have ovulation problems. Thanks for the insight, never heard of ovidrel I'll research that. However Iv found Clomid does help increase ovulation: Heres a sight explaining is purpose: http://www.amazingpregnancy.com/pregnancy-articles/268.html
