I am  14.5 weeks pregnant and think I am getting a cold from my son.  What OTC meds can I take?

Tylenol cold and sinus works wonders and is safe for you and the baby!!! You can get the day and night pack too so you can still rest at night. Its wonderful. :-) Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks girls.  Can I have cough drops too?

That I dont remember for sure, but I think my doc said they were fine. Try the halls strawberry flavor, they taste good and they work.

Anything Tylenol is fine.  Sudafed is OK after 12 weeks.  Benedryl is OK after 12 weeks. As far as I know cough drops are perfectly fine.  Tylenol severe head congestion (daytime and nighttime) works pretty good.  I have cold now and that is what I am taking.
