I am currently dating someone who is 47. I really want to have a child. I need to know if any ladies here are pregnant for or had children with a man in this age range. If so, were there any possible complications due to his age at all? I thank you ladies in advance!
I am currently pregnant and I am 30. The Father of my child is 43 (almost 44) I am 18 weeks and my Dr.'s have expressed NO concern in terms of his age.
He IS my EX so I could give you a HUGE list of OTHER problems, but that's a whole seperate post.. None that are pregnancy/complications in pregnancy related.. Just emotional...
I think when it comes to complications it has to do with the womans age. As far as the man, if there would be problems it would be like if he had any genetic problems or something with his sperm, but these problems can happen with men of any age. We get the bad end of the stick, we stop being able to conceive after a while, and the ,man sperm lives on lol.
Men can conceive later in life than women, but their sperm does deteriorate with age, just as women's eggs do. But, there are men who have successfully gotten women pregnant in their 50's and even 60's. But age always works against us, no matter if it's men or women.
