Could I be prego? brown-redish spotting!

Hi every one, my last period was Aug 1st, I was due Aug 25 for my period, which was yesterday, I have been having bad cramps, and now today (aug 26), I have like a redish brown spotting, nothing I have ever had. Could this mean that I am prego? I did a prego test on Sun, it was negative. We are ttc, and it just hasn't happend yet. So I was just wondering if anyone thinks that this could maybe be a sign. ( cramping, brown-redish spotting).  Any advice would be awesome. I don't want to get my hopes ups, its been 10 months that we have been trying, so I don't want to set myself up for yet another dissapointment.

i was due for my period on 22 and have had brown spotting not even enough to hit the panty liner. we are ttc. 4 hpt are neg. last one last night.
i am rarely late much less 5 days. good luck.

I hate waiting. Especially b/c I want to be prego so bad. I am just going to wait, and see what happens, as much as this is going to drive me crazy. I have no clue as to why I can't get pregnant. I have 2 other children, they were not planned, it happened so easy  them. So this is very frustrating for me. I know everyone says that I need to stop stressing, but there are so many ppl around me who are prego, and have new-borns, and I just think to myself, why isn't it happening?.
I have 2 beautiful children so I shuldn't really complain, b/c I am sure there are ppl out here who are unable to conceive.

Hi, I am also TTC and have had the redish brown spotting. When I talked to my doctor about it, he informed me that the reddish brown spotting was just old blood. He said that sometimes all the blood doesnt come out during the normal period and will cause you to spot. But I hope that is not the case with you, best of luck.
