I am 23 years old, If my calcutations were correct i was ovualting between November 20- the 24th The start of my period was on November 9th.  I am secheduled for a Follow up ultrasound on December 1st for cyst on my overy that i think are gone. If i was pregnant do you think that it would show up on the ultrasound, its going to be an internal ultralsound?

I just wasnt sure how far along you had to be befor it would show on a Transvaginal Ultrasound

by Michele, Katy, TX, Nov 28, 2007 03:14PM
It would show on a transvaginal first (before one on your stomach).

Even if it is only like 2 weeks or so?

by ExpectingaRedhead, Nov 29, 2007 08:20AM
Usually at 4 weeks a transvaginal ultrasound can detect the gestational sac but not the embryo. But it varies from person to person.

by MaryJane419, Nov 29, 2007 08:40AM
Yeah I dont think there is anyway that I am 4 weeks, maybe only 2 if I even am prego.

by ExpectingaRedhead, Nov 29, 2007 08:43AM
It probably wouldn't show up on a transvaginal u/s then but you never know. Want to see what my u/s looked like at 8 weeks??? It was so tiny, I can't imagine how tiny it is at 4 weeks...

I circled the embryo: http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l180/Kim5283/ultrasound.jpg

I forgot about this thread! We aren't finding out the sex...going to be a surprise baby.

Anyway, I'm sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted. It's not the end though...you can always try again!
