Could perm spilling prevent pregnancy?

by klexym, Nov 29, 2007 05:40AM
Everytime I have sex with my husband, the sperm usually spills out. We use to brace my hip with a pillow and wait for the sperm to go inside. However, after sometime (about two hours after) the sperm still comes out when i stand up. What can I do to stop this from happening or why is it happening? Could this prevent pregnancy?

Hi sweety i wouldn't worry about it that happens to every woman sperm coming out after sex. There's millions and millions of sperm still in there swimming around and it only takes one. I also put a pillow under my bum after sex and just lie for twenty minutes. I also loose some like you  a couple of hours after. So good luck and sending you lots of baby dust. Keep us posted xx

I have heard of this happening before. I'm sure it is fine. There are enough in there. It is a misconception that it only takes one though. It takes much much much more than one sperm to penetrate the egg. One sperm actually gets the glory, but many are needed for penetration. I am sure there are still enough in there though. Lots of sperm die upon entry to the vagina (the sperm that are spilling out), lots die on the way to the cervix, many die in the cervix, and not many even make it to the tubes, and those that do still have to try to penetrate the egg (if there is one.) It takes a lot of work and a lot of sperm to make it that distance to the egg. More die on the way than make it to where they should. It happens to every woman and people still have babies. You'll be fine. :)
