Hi!
My period usually goes on for about 5 days, with the heavier days at the beginning and then lightening up around day 3 - and I never have cramping or pain. However, currently, I'm on my 8th day of an extremely heavy period and my stomach is killing me! Should I be concerned? Should I call the doctor? My mom says I should take a pregnancy test to see if its an ectopicEctopic pregnancy pregnancy or miscarriage or something.
I think it's a small possibility I'm pregnant - I'm on birth controlControl Control rx and I never missed a period, but I guess it's always a possibility since I'm sexually active.
I've been going through a few pads a day and when I pee it gets pours ( not to gross you out, but I don't know how else to communicate it accurately).
Also, the lower abdomanal pain seems to be getting worse by the minute. My gyn told me to start my birth controlControl Control rx early, so I did. However, these symptoms haven't changed.
ok. Its usually recommended that a womenWomen's way see a doctor ASAP if she goes through several pads an hour which is why I asked about your level of bleeding. Since you are having such bad stomach pains, I suggest you call the doctor or go to an after hours clinic today if it hasnt gotten any better. Please keep me updated.
How many pads have you been going through each hour/day?
