FEEL LIKE CRYING..

by girl0319, Dec 29, 2007 10:22PM
WELL DONT GET ME WRONG I AM REALLY HAPPY ABOUT BEING PREGNANT AND I KNOW ALL THE THINGS THAT COME A LONG WITH IT.. EVEN THE WEIGHT GAIN. HOWEVER, I AM REALLY "DEPRESSED" I GUESS YOU COULD SAY ABOUT ALL THE WEIGHT I HAVE GAINED.. I HAVE GAINED 35 POUNDS AND AM ONLY 28 WEEKS. I KEEP HEARING THAT I'VE GAINED TOO MUCH WEIGHT FROM MY DOCTOR AS WELL AS MY FAMILY AND EVERYTIME I HEAR IT I JUST WANT TO CRY. MY BOYFRIEND DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING AND HE HELPS ME TO GO WALKING BUT AS STUPID AS IT SOUNDS I KNOW HE PROBABLY MUST BE LIKE "OMG" IN HIS HEAD BUT ID TOO SWEET TO SAY ANYTHING AND I FEEL REALLY BAD FOR HIM KNOWING THAT I LOOK LIKE THIS.. I MEAN I WAS NEVER SO SMALL BUT I WAS NEVER THIS BIG! I JUST FEEL REALLY NASTY AND BAD ABOUT LETTING IT COME TO THIS POINT AND I HATE HEARING THAT IVE GAINED TOO MUCH OVER AND OVER AGAIN... I KNOW I MAY SOUND DUM BECAUSE YOUR GOING TO GAIN SOME WEIGHT DURING PREGNANCY... I JUST HAD TO VENT.. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING..

Oh honey!!! It's okay! I gained 50 lbs with my first. Some women just gain more weight. You're just feeling extra emotional and your self-esteem is down because of body changes. It'll be okay! You won't stay this size forever!!!!

I KNOW BUT IT GETS SO DEPRESSING. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.. I CAN'T REALLY WALK IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD I LIVE IN SO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SOME ONE CAN TAKE ME TO THE PARK AND I JUST FEEL LIKE IT'S TOO LATE I CAN'T TURN BACK AND EAT RIGHT.. AND I JUST ENTERED MY 3RD TRIM. AND THEY TELL ME "O THIS IS WHEN THE BIG WEIGHT GAIN COMES" I JUST GET REALLY SAD THINKING OF IT..

Don't worry, everything is going to get better. Sometimes family can stick their noses too much into our business. Just ignore them. They can be stinkers! I'm sure that your boyfriend loves you with all of his heart and your weight doesn't even cross his mind. You're pregnant and it is normal to gain weight. As long as you are healthy and happy that is all that matters. Don't let those people get to you. Think about that precious baby growing inside of you! Now that's something to look forward to. :)

After delivery you will be amazed at how much weight melts right off!  Just keep eating healthy and go buy yourself a cute new top to feel better!  Shopping always makes me feel better!

My husband has never once made any remark about my looks. I used to be a slim size 6 with the perfect butt and boobs, now I'm a blobby 16 but I'm WORKING on it. You'll get to work on it after baby comes.

I gained 56 pounds with my first pregnancy and felt HUGE...........................believe me though, your boyfriend surely thinks you're beautiful and doing a great job carrying his baby:)  My other half always told me how pretty I was big and pregnant, but I thought he was lying through his teeth!  LOL  To this day he tells me it's really true and he thinks it's wonderful.  The weight does come off pretty quickly especially if you breastfeed so hang in there girl!

Thank you so much.. you made me feel a lot better! Your other half sounds really nice and your luck to have him! I just hope my boyfriend thinks the same thing about me deep inside... All i need to remember is that I am having a baby and I'm going through all of this for her!

That's right!!! Drink plenty of water, too. In fact, you should drink a glass before you eat a meal to help fill your tummy first. When people feel hungry, they are actually thirsty long before that hunger kicks in

That is the right attitude:)  I know how easy it is to get down because of the weight gain, but you are carrying your beautiful baby and it's hard work!  Your body goes through sooooo much and weight gain is an unfortunate side effect and some of us gain more than others.  You are doing great and I'm sure your boyfriend is VERY proud of you!  Keep us posted...........

if it makes you feel anybetter I gained 65lbs with my son.  That was 4 years ago.  My hubby is wanting us to get preggers again and I asked him if he was going to love me when I gained all the weigh and he had this adorable grin like he couldnt wait..lol.  If your boyfriend really loves you he will think it is beautiful.  Also my doctor told me he would rather me gain that much weight then to not gain weight so I really woouldnt stress.  Good Luck sweety.

I know you said you can't walk your neighborhood, so have you thought about pregnancy yoga or stuff like that you can do at home?  Its good for you and the baby, but its good for your stress too! :-)
You're beautiful, and think about it.. You're doing something great, you're creating new life.
