Failure of Pill 72 Tablets: effects and risks in continuing with pregnancy

We had unprotected sex during the risk period and next day my wife took her first Pill 72 tablet. The next dose was to be taken in 12 hours which she forgot and took it after more than 24 hours of first dose. We later realised that she is pregnant. Now e are willing to continue with the pregnancy instead of terminating it. What are the risks involved?

I have read about this a bit after posting to this forum. But all the references pointed to a situation -where one has already conceived but does not know about it; and has taken the pill later to negate next occurrence of unprotected sex. In our case she took the first pill immediately and missed-actually delayed- the second dose. I hope your replies apply to this situation as well.
