Like Joy said there are no risks. The pill prevents the egg from implanting in the uterus and if it already has implanted when the pill is taken then it doesn't do anything what so ever. I got pregnant after taking the morning after pill and everything was fine.
Have a happy 9 months! So incredibly glad to hear she's keeping the baby. You come back often (her too) and ask lots of questions, okay?!
I have read about this a bit after posting to this forum. But all the references pointed to a situation -where one has already conceived but does not know about it; and has taken the pill later to negate next occurrence of unprotected sex. In our case she took the first pill immediately and missed-actually delayed- the second dose. I hope your replies apply to this situation as well.
Thanks Joy & Alaysha, we look forward to sharing this new found excitement with you.
