False pregnancy

My boyfriend and I have safe sex with contraception.  Unfortunately I haven't had my period for or since I should say since April of this year. I did try a pregnancy test and it came up negative. Still I haven't had any signs of a period to this day, no symptoms of pregnancy. I have no health insurance to go to a local doctor for a check on the situation and am still looking for someplace to go. I believe this to be a case of hormonal imbalance. I have been stressed out a bit more than usual but that hasn't reulted in this happening in previous years. Please give me some advice. I am not pregnant nor do I plan on getting pregnant, .

There's no way of knowing without a blood test if the home pregnancy tests show negative. You should try taking another. As for the doctor biz you should see if there is a clinic in your area. clinics are usually real cheap or free. you do need to find out what's going on if your not pregnant it could be anything.

Well, in my case I do miss my period a lot cause of stress. But it doesn't happen EVERY time i'm stressed out, just sometimes. I'm actually taking some herbal pills that my roommmate (she's a doctor from china and an acupuncturist)  told me to take that would make me  relaaaax and i think its working! can't you go to a Planned Parenthood? They test you for free.
