Fetal Hiccups

by girl0319, Jan 23, 2008 02:35PM
I am 32 weeks and today I noticed a slow up and down movement on my stomach. Like rising up and down in a rhythm. I knew it wasnt her kicking and I have felt her hiccups before but I didnt think that you could see them going up and down outside the uterus! Is this her hiccuping or maybe her heartbeat? Any suggestions?

you wouldn't be seeing the babys heartbeat...it's either hiccups or just the baby moving

Most likely hiccups. I have noticed once or twice a day now my lil' bugger gets them. I can't see my belly move, but I sure can feel them. It's a steady light tapping, that's how I describe mine. At first I had no clue what it was and kinda freaked out...but then I realized that's what it was. I noticed around the same time everyday it would happen.
