Fifths Disease & Pregnancy

I am almost 9 weeks and today I learned that a child at my daughters day care has fifth's disease.  I have a call into my Doctor.  What are the effects on the  pregnancy to the fetus??... to myself?? Any info or experience would be very helpful.

I dont think it will harm you.  It's mainly only common in kids from 5 to 13 I believe.  Please make sure your daughter washes her hands and keeps them out of her mouth.  You may want to send some antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer with her.  Just look out for redness of her cheeks and arms and legs that look somewhat to be a rash and if she has these signs take her to her Ped. b/c it does spread.  But I think you and the baby will be ok.
