First OB appointment!!

So I finally get to see my doctor tomarrow. Yeah I am so excited!! I will be 11.1 weeks!! I had to wait 7 weeks just to get in and see the same doctor that seen me for my last pregnancy. So I am really hoping to get to hear the heart beat. My question is since I just had a baby 5 months ago, got pregnant when he was just over 2 months and never got the chance to lose the "belly" will I be able to hear the heart beat? I have always been able to hear it by 10 weeks, but I have always been slim befor having waited 3-4 years between babies. Now I just have fat, ugh!!
I really hope I can!! I feel like I have been waiting for this appointment FOREVER!!

Congrats, and yes that is a long time to wait for an appt.  Yes, you should be able to hear a heartbeat, my best friend is over 250lbs and was able to hear heart beat at 10weeks with doppler.

I have my first ob appt 2mrw also, but im not so happy about it bcuz its only pretty much a physcial, health history, and the standard lab work they do, so boring. I did have an u/s at 5w3d and i have another one feb 3. I am only 7weeks today, so if i was 10w i would be excited bcuz they would do the doppler lol.

Wow! Another baby already! Yay!!! You're brave, he he. Congratulations! And yes, like latrice414 said, you should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. Good luck!

I just got back from my appointment and YES I got to her the heartbeat!!!! It was high in the 160's but everything looked good:) My doctor was excited to see me again so soon, lol. And she noticed I chopped all my hair off, I love it when people acually take notice to things like that:) She also scheduled an ultra sound for next tuesday!! I dont usually get those at my clinic, only at around 20 weeks. She said because my pregnancys are only a few months apart she wanted to be sure about the dates. I cant wait for tuesday!!!!
