First name for my middle name pick...

I think I've settled on Michaela (ma-kay-la) as a middle name for this baby, I'm not sure if that's how I'll spell it or not just yet. DH and I were thinking of Brielle for a first name but the more I look at it the less I like it, even before I picked a middle name. SO what name goes with my middle name pick? Our last name kinda rhymes with....um....well, it sounds like "her-stall". That's as close as I can get with it...for those of you who are friends with me on FB, or on the MH on facebook, you can see my last name there if you need a better visual.


OH! I did think about Addison, but I don't know if DH will like it and it would be a long name...Addison Michaela. I'm trying to find something I can shout out loud and it just rolls off my tongue...I'm sure the moms out there know what I mean, LOL.

what about switching michaela and brielle? I <3 michaela!...altho i might spell it like makaela..hmmm...it goes great with your last name!i like addison OK but its way more common and brielle is just so pretty!!

Ivy, you mean Makaela Brielle? I could yell that one I think...It sounds better than Brielle Makaela, and it goes with the last name...I'll have to run that one by Josh...He really likes Brielle, and I really want Makeala in there...It's the closes I could come to mixing Michael and Angela, my parents' names...I wanted SOMETHING from my side and I couldn't figure out what, just knew I wanted something for both of my parents in case two is our magic number and we don't have anymore kids. BUT my mom is Angela Dawn, and dad is Michael Ray so...it was hard to come up with something and I used this name mixer thingy I found online, and Michaela was one on the list, I'd already thought about it so I just took it as a sign.

I think you may have just helped me name my baby girl Ivy! Now I just have to get Josh to agree...the more I say it the more I like it. I got the middle name pick this time, and it sounds better with Michaela/however I spell it first...

I really like it...I don't know about the spelling just yet, but I have plenty of time to change that around....I don't want to go completely normal with it like how I wrote how it's pronounced (Makayla), I want it to be different. Hmmm...I see a poll coming on...I'm gonna have to think of a few ways to spell it so it's not too crazy, but different...

I like Michaela spelled that way and i also think Michaela Brielle is reeeeaaaally cute! i like Brielle a lot. Im not that big of a fan of Ivy's spelling though ..Makaela looks kinda tribal and harsh to me....the spelling Michaela looks more sophisticated which would look better on documents/job applications IMO.

I love Brielle - I think it would be great if you could use it as a middle name at least, to "get it in there" :-)  Michaela (or however you spell it) Brielle really flows nicely, I think....Can't wait to hear the FINAL decision :-)

I like both....we were between Olivia and Addison.  We are going with Olivia because I have always loved that name.  But you have two tough names to pick from.  Addison is cute but becoming more popular.  Brielle is not so popular yet so if you want a more unique name go with it.  Either one will be cute.

Have you considered spelling the name Mikaila?  Brielle is also a nice name.

Have you ever tried playing around with names at babynamegenie.com? I play with that a lot just for fun but it has actually come up with some really interesting unique names.  We have something in common. My baby's middle name will also be Mikaela. Her first name will be the same as my mom's.

I like Mikaila (however you spell it) Brielle best. I think it flows a lot better. You could always tell DH that you'll call her Brielle, but it'd just be her middle name because it sounds better. lol.
