First pregnancy.. Are shooting pains up the v normal. Help please

I'm nearly 15 weeks and had shooting pains up my vagina area at beginning but was told it was normal in early pregnancy. But i'm nearly 15 weeks n they have started again. It's a sharp shooting pain that travels up vagina very quickly but that's it no pain after.. Does anyone else get this. Is it normal?

It could be your baby hitting on your cervix or something. That's quite the odd feeling and can almost knock ya to the floor if the baby hits it just right! I'm sure it is normal but make sure you mention it to your doctor on your next appt.

It is normal. It is probably just your uterus expanding...

I had that A LOT throughout my entire first pg. It was a sudden sharp pain through the V area that left as quickly as it came. Although it is very uncomfortable when it happens, it isn't anything to be concerned about....unless of course the pain doesn't go away. It's worth mentioning to your doc though; just to be on the safe side.

i had that as well. its pretty painful but its completly normal. most times just sitting down and relaxing will help it some
