For all the Mothers and Mothers-to-Be

I wanted to extend the warmest Mother Day wishes to all of you, whether you are a parent already or waiting for baby-to-be! Praying you get to laze around today and be waited on hand-n-foot. Because that is what the holiday is all about right? Riiiight?!

lol... yea right. DH has to work all day, HOWEVER... Tonight, DH, me, my mom , and my MIL are all going to dinner and a movie. I Made reservations at the Melting Pot. Then We're seeing the new star treck movie. I got my SIL a "pregnant" mothers day card.

We're going to my inlaws (hopefully, my FIL is sick with a cold), and just having dinner there.  Other than being sunburnt from a yard sale yesterday, it should be a good day!

I second that... Happy Mother's day to those of you with the bun still in the oven and to those of you who have your little treasures running around the house (or in my case, happily napping while mommy uses the computer and sips her raspberry-lemonade).  =)

=)  It's like they know it's Mother's Day and they're giving us a break.  Lillian was such a great little napper today... lots of free time for mommy!

My kids went to bed at 6:30 tonight, so I agree Wendy! They must just know. Then again they missed a nap today so that's most likely WHY but it's the best because they share a room. No running around and bickering for an hour at bedtime! WOO HOO!

Watched Bride Wars today, too, while FIL took the kids on a walk to a park. But I'm so tired that I can barely move now. I'm going to go watch Celebrity Apprentice and hit the hay.

*sigh*  Today was such a nice day... I love this new mommy role, and the fact that we get our very own day is just icing on the cake.   =)

Yesterday was a great day... but DH had to get up at 3am for work today, and the dinner bill was CRAZY high! 270!!!! NEVER AGAIN! We could've gone to Shoguns (like benihanas) for a WHOLE LOT LESS> lol.   I did drink a glass of mamosa. I was gonna just have cider but my mom and mil were saying "one wont hurt". lol. (and I know it's true... it's not like I drink regularly or even occasionally)
