Hi williams

I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks and my son stopped growing at 11 weeks.  I did go to hospital only because I didn't know I was miscarrying.  I wasn't in much pain I was a little bit uncomfortable.  When I bled it was very, very heavy, I filled 7 pads an hour with tons and tons of clots.  When my son passed my waters broke and my son was in my pants along with my placenta.  I pulled my pants down and my placenta the size of my hand fell on the ground.  I thenb realised my son was still in my pants.  My son was about the size of your middle finger and he was very much a baby.  He had hands, feet, eyes and an umbilical cord and his penis.  There is absolutely no way I could miss him for tissue.

The other way she could pass tissue is if baby had passed at like 6 weeks and it took her body that long to realise it was a miscarriage.  It took myu body 3 weeks before I started miscarrying naturally.  You can pass a baby naturally and you can stay home to pass them.

I hope that helps

It is possible to have a natural miscarriage at 10-14 weeks and not need a doctor to remove it.  She should, however, be checked afterwards by a doctor (doing an ultrasound) to be sure all the tissue did pass and none was retained.

not necessarily she could have passed it all on her own although painfully she should however still see her Doctor to make sure that she has passed all the tissue because if there is any left inside of her she can get a bad infection
