Hi everyone! I had a miscarriage back at the end of August. With the miscarriage I had what I thought was a period(but really wasn't), then a week and a half later started spottingVaginal bleeding between periods and thats when I found out I was pregnant and miscarrying all at the same time. I had one normalNormal saline flush cycle and then just found out I was pregnant again last week. Every test I took last week was very faint and every digitalDigital rectal exam I took said 'not pregnant' except for one when I held my urineCalcium - urine Calcium urine test Chloride - urine Cortisol - urine Electrolytes - urine Glucose test - urine Hcg in urine Ketones - urine Kidney - blood and urine flow Lh urine test (home test) Ph urine test overnight for several hours (about 10-12). Well Thursday I started spotting very lightly and figured I was miscarrying again. I called my dr and they didn't want to see me, just said to wait it out and see if it gets worse or goes away. Friday it was pretty heavy, Saturday it was still somewhat heavy and by Sunday it was back to light spotting and Monday only brown spotting every now and then. When I told my dr Friday that it was heavier they basically said better luck next time, they also said they would do no testing until I have had 5+ miscarriages. Since I had that false period with my last m/c I decided to keep testing to see if the lines were getting darker or lighter and if they got lighter then I would know when I was back to normal levels. I have tested everyday since the bleeding started and they are getting darker, a lot darker. I also took more digital tests and they come up as 'pregnant' within a minute. So Monday I called my dr again and demanded blood tests to see what my hcg and progesterone levels were b/c I read that low prog can cause m/c. The nurse told me I could come in but that my dr doesn't prescribe anything for low progesterone. I got my results back today and they are very low. My hcg is 292 and prog is 5.1. I know they are both very low but since they have been increasing (i'm assuming b/c of the darkening of lines etc) should I seek out another dr to see if I could get on supplements for progesterone? Is there anything I can do to increase the progesterone that doesn't need a prescription? Do you think my baby has any chance at all?
