HCG increasing?!?!

I am calling my doctor monday to let him know I got ( a couple) positive pregnancy tests. But I am wondering. Yesterday I got my bfp's and they are light...but not really light I mean you can hold the test far out in front of you and still see all the lines... they just aren't the really dark ones I was looking for. so all those test I took last night around 6 o'clock.  I took the same 3 test this morning and there isn't any difference in the lines...they are all the same as last night. I am afraid because I thought they are supposed to get darker....or did i not wait long enough??

No they aren't you can't use hpts for that purpose.

You need to test again in few days,the line will probabley be darker.dont read any test after the time limit box says,wont be valid.

HCG most often needs 48 hours to show significant increase. Test again in a few days with first morning urine.

Yes dear, testing in like 2 days should give you a darker line.  My first prego which ended up in MC a month later, but besides the point.  I took a test a week after my pd and it was a faint line, then took 2 days later and was even darker line due to Hcg doubling.  Am pregnant again like a month and half later and took test around my pd time and line was dark.  Took it a week past and line was even darker.  Good luck.  Congrats

When I was pregnant with my son, I never got a dark line. They were always very faint. I miscarried last year and the line was very, very dark when I tested. I am now 15 weeks, and the line was faint. You can't go by the color of the line to tell if your levels are doubling. If you are worried about your levels, ask your doctor to run blood tests. HPTs are not used for that.

Thanks guys. I tested again today when I got home and I got all normal good lines...so I am done testing now...just gonna call my doctor tomorrow and get my pregnancy confirmed
