After 3 years of ttc and one ectopicEctopic pregnancy pregnancy (right tube removed), I was thrilled to get a BFP Monday, with a beta level of 132. Today's beta, 48 hours later, was 204. It didn't doubleDouble-tussin dm, but the RE said it is meant to doubleDouble-tussin dm within 48-72 hours (the American Pregnancy website said the same thing). They will repeat the beta Friday and will hope to see numbers around 500.
I am still very positive and not freaking out, but am a wee bit anxious. Could you ladies please tell me, based on your experience, did your hcg levels doubleDouble-tussin dm within 48 hours or 72 hours? Thanks so much!
Take a look at this website/page. I found it for another poster having questions about her HCG levels. There seems to be a very large margin. I never knew my numbers. My doc never gave those to me when I was pregnant.
i know its very scary. im having the same thing. my levels yesterday at 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant were 65 which the doc said is normalNormal saline flush but seems low to me. last time i was pregnant at 4 weeks and 3 days my levels were 66 and i miscarried. so im hoping they doubleDouble-tussin dm by tomorrow. i heard them not doubling is not a good sign but miracles can happen. its so hard to stay relaxed and not think about it. good luck though! i hope everything works out
thank you both! SLeeann, hang in there - I think the actual first level doesn't matter as much as whether they double in the 48-72 hour window. I hope everything works out for you too.
I am 4 weeks 2 days today, and the doc said he is almost certain this is a normal pregnancy - it's hard not to worry though! I am going to focus on staying positive.
it is deffinately hard not to worry. i am 5 weeks 3 days and i called my dr today and requested more blood work ( i had 2 times last week, my levels trippled) to see if my levels were still rising because im driving myself insane! ;-)
i will find out tomorrow. i felt so funny asking the dr for more bloodwork hehee...but oh well, it will hopefully put my mind at ease a lil ;-) Good luck to you! and congrats by the way :-D
