so i found out march 13th that i was pregnant. March 24th i visited the doctor, they said everything was fine. March 25th i went to the ER & miscarried [naturally, no d&c] they did 3 blood tests after to make sure my hcg levels went to 0...that was 4wks ago & now i feel preg. symptoms again...could i be pregnant....my boobs are sore & feel full, im craving things, peeing constantly, & very tired. But i didnt have a period in between so how will i know? I scheduled a doctor appt for wed for them to draw blood but will it show? does it matter how far along you are w/ blood tests or only home tests? any advice would be appreciated thanks.
Yes, its possible you could be pregnant the month following a miscarriage. You do not need to have had a period to get pregnant - a period is the result of an egg not being fertilized and the uterus lining shedding as a result.
Blood tests are more accurate, and detect pregnancy earlier, than a urine test. A urine test will detect pregnancy 10-14 days after conception and a blood test sometimes as early as 7 days after conception. If you are pregnant and your symptoms are because of pregnancy, a blood test will be very telling.
Its also possible your body is regulating itself after your miscarriage.
